MATX - a great way to stop you getting ideas about multiple GPU set ups

Only issue for me was I ended up going SLI any way

Nice clean rig I like it.

I kinda like the concept of a mATX X79 board. Wouldn't mind using one myself had I the scratch to get into the LGA2011 platform.

Also, specs or it didn't happen!

Can you please include the specs of your rig within the original post. Thankyou.

fixed it now! :)

will be really close with the triple slot card, you thought about watercooling? would give you some space

Yes, I have thought of watercooling, but don't know if its worth it. And its pretty exspensive here in norway as well for watercooling parts :(

if your temps are in the right place for your needs without it I would forego the custom loop for the moment honestly. Yeah it LOOKS the S***, but that's one more bit of maintenance that must now be run, and the up front cost even in parts of the world where pricing isn't so bad is still rough for a lot of people to swallow.

Yeah, but it is the customs that kills the price here.
My temps are okey and Im happy with it. So for now I won't even bother thinking about custom watercooling

Water cooling is expensive as hell to begin with, and stuff like import taxes and VAT don't help at all. Although our VAT here in Switzerland is "only" 8%, so if you're not hit with special import taxes and the processing fees aren't a high percentage of item value (meaning your shipment is expensive ;)), it's usually not too bad.

Anyway, to the point of this thread: Nice rig, very clean. One thing I might change if it was mine: Take out the drive cage and mount the drive to the back of the M/B tray. Or on the case bottom. It just seems a bit wasteful to have that cage take up so much space for one little drive.

I will add 3, 3.5" HDD soon, but need to wait for them to get in stock before I can buy them. Thank you for your comment. I will soon orderer sleeving for my frontpanel connector to get rid of the ugly colors from the cables. Will also might sleeve my own PSU cables, think its to much red to be honest. hehe

Cheers!
