This was the best I could get when I first moved here without spending a mint. The desks in the office even though only being from Argos set me back over a grand

Id love a black modular set but if I switch I need to change the whole office

Desk wize, you should really have taken a look at Ikea. I've decked out a loft conversion with surfaces etc. They do "cheap" worktops to dear ones. Cos I wanted cheap (cos I'll scratch with messing with computers etc) I think the 2x 1.86m oak finish surfaces were merely £22 each ? Used my old draw sets from my old desk to support. My old desk surface, I purchased 5x table legs & .... £2.50 each !

When I say cheap, I mean very well constructed etc and look good. Surfaces are cleverly made. They sound like inner-house doors when you knock them. Obviously hollow.

ThePlasmaCentre have some decent desks Tom, you could have a look there. However, they might be quite small for your needs.

i think that in a honour to the momentous occasion of orca finally being finished, those monitors need a nice treble-span wallpaper... "dug"-stylee... on them.

Too bad you don't have a OC3D fan out there that works at a factory making good desks.

My oldest niece's husband once worked for a company called Ameriwood that owned many other similar companies. They'd have a factory sale once a year to sell off discontinued or "damaged" items. The desk I have now I got for $20.00 US. The economy went bad and he works somewhere else now.

The Ikea Galant desk is a great modular desk. It's incredibly sturdy and comes with a 10 year warranty. I love mine.

+1, you could probably recreate your current desk with GALANT desks, all for much much less than a grand. You can also get little extras you might find useful, like stuff for cable management.

Thanks for that just looked! Just a shame I need 4 desks and a corner unit plus cabinates! (did feel all funny at the white though)

Thanks Tom I have to look into those BENQ cause I want them to match my Windowed R4 in WHITE. Gotta start saving now for 2 screens. And BTW the IKEA Galant Desks are awesome if you have space you can cover an entire wall in them and have a ton of extras that you can get with them.
