The GTX 1080 Founders Edition will cost a minimum of 619.99 in the UK

So am I right in thinking the Founders Edition has replaced the reference models and NVidia won't be release non-Founders Editions at a lower price point?

Bit of a punch in the gut if that's the case as I think those reference coolers are crap!

Hope they price the 1070 more sensibly!!!

I'd be surprised if the 1070 is any cheaper than what the current 980's costs, considering it's a replacement for the 970 and a price increase in line with the 1080 it would be about £375-£425

It's not that far behind the 1080 when decently clocked and at around 1500 and in most cases faster

1080 really isn't impressive performance wise tbh. It's basically a highly clocked Titan, which many can do. Only impressive thing is power draw and perf/watt imo but expected when on 16nm
