Looks like Dicey may order one after all . #SAVEDFROMTHEXBONE :D:D:D:p I just couldn't resist hahahaha

Honestly can't justify £619 for a reference card, I paid much less for the 980 Ti Classified upon launch.

Out of principle I'll pass and see if the customs are any cheaper.

TBH if Nvidia were being truthful about the non FE RRP of $599 the FE is really going to be the suckers card for early adopters.

If a non-FE card uses the same PCB you could get it and a waterblock for the price of the FE.

£619.99 WHAT A RIP OFF!!!!!! how can they justify that price the 980 launched at £430 that's almost a £200 increase F### YOU Nvidia

699USD equal £480 + 20%VAT = £570 where did the other £50 come from????? Not that I would even pay £570

I'm gonna skip this gen at that thieving price out of principle and just grab a couple of 980ti cards for less

very true if we get a another option of the reference card with an aftermarket cooler on it' That's why sometimes it pays more to wait Mark. As you reported EK have started bringing their blocks out already :)

Well this escalated quickly, £620 we sure do get taxed up the wazzooo.. Everyone thinks this is bad? The 1080ti is going to be astronomical.

I told y'all they jacked up the prices. US got the least price hike but still nearly $100 increase here.. Now you know what it is for you guys. Just imagine Aus... They will be screwed for sure

AMD are sitting there right now giggling at nvidia, all they need to do is what they always do and release a card that almost performs the same but at a huge price reduction and I'm sold.

I makes me wonder if there will be a Ti version. Or will they look at making the Titan series a gaming card? That price point puts it in line with Ti prices on launch.

I'm disappointed to be honest, hope the 1070 is a more respectable price!

The biggest factor we have here is "founders edition" the new founders tax is simply ludicrous just price it right Nvidia and be happy at the income.

I read #Founderstax as Founder Stax, but I guess you do need stacks of cash for a GTX 1080.

While true, you can expect many AIBs will price pretty close to the FE simply because they are more than likely to run cooler and clock higher.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and put the 1070 at around £450 - £480..

One thing's for sure, Tom has one hell of a job selling us this card now.. That price is bonkers mental.

I agree AIB's have been told the lower tear is 'RECOMMENDED' price but with nvidia selling the founders card at that price I'm willIing to bet my left nut the AIB prices will be pretty close if not higher for some of the beefier models
