Ok guys and girls, let´s start spreading the word and make it real!

To start the date will be on the 28th of september 2012 at 18:00 (GMT(0)"Greenwich Mean Time") and it will ends at 29th september at 18:00 (GMT"0"). You can use all the types of equipment that are capable to fold on the Redline Folding @ OC3D - 98860 team.

I would like to know if Kup can inform us from the states of folding that we are doing every 6 hours or the best possible time that can be suited to him!

Please comment what you all think and give more ideas without changing the date and hour!

Why are we waiting until Sept? How about we make it a montly thing like the First Sat of the month or something like that. What is going to happen where there are no more protein to fold?

Sounds like a great idea to be - i'll get all the computers/PS3s I can get my hands on folding
I agree that this should be a monthly thing, as it could get more members associated with folding if they try it out on one of these days

I think it depends on how far everyone wants to go as to if it should be monthly or yearly.

If it's a case of dragging out every PC, Laptop & PS3 you can get your hands on (possibly including friends/relatives), throwing together spare parts to get a random CPU folding etc. Then that could be a bit much every month.

If it's just a case of leaving the usual things that are used or to hand on for 24 hours (so in my case 2 laptops and 2 pcs), then monthly isn't really a problem.

Yeah, I was just thinking of the casual things. I'm only going to try and make this extra special effort because it's the first etc.

I just think that having one day a month where as many people as possible fold for a solid 24 hours would be a good thing, and it would probably make more people fold 24/7 etc.
It would be nice if it could get featured on the front page etc. to help raise awareness, but I fear that's asking a little much.

Haha I hope so, I'm leaving for Italy tomorrow for a well-deserved 2 week vacation and don't think I'm going to leave my rig folding the whole time (except maybe I'll keep my PS3 going) so you'll have a good head start ahead of me

Something to think about for next year's 'F' day, is that it should perhaps be held on the 22nd of July - yup, we've only just missed it.
The reason; in Astrology, the 22nd of July is the last day of 'Cancer' - the Zodiac sign.
I just thought it kind of fit in well.
