hi, I'm going to be getting 4 case fans and a CPU cooler with 2 fans on it but i have no idea how to connect them up to power i seen in a TTL vid that he had a small circuit that he connected a molex to and it had many fan headers on it does anyone know where i can get some of these or have another idea for connecting many fans up? responses would be great!

i had a look at the link then my case to plan it out and i was wondering if there are any smaller ones so i could have 2 or 3 in my case at different places or would i just need to buy fan extension cables for the fans?

im sure specailtech do smaller ones, if not you may find some on ebay with some searching.

How many fans are you planning on running? and in what case?

i can only fit 4 fans max in the case because of the heat sink on my motherboard but i will have another 2 on the cpu cooler in a cooler master elite 430. also do you think that it would be better to just get 1 multi power fan port with some extension cables on the fans because i think it would be a good bit cheaper that way than buying lots of multi power fan ports?

personally i wouldnt like lots of those hubs dotted around my rig, so i would go down the cable extension route and just spend a little extra time maybe sleeving the extensions and being careful with where i routed the extensions so they were as well hidden as possible.

Just remember it still has to be functional, i made the mistake the first time of routing the cables so they were more or less invisible but it was not very practical. so now my cables are as neat and tidy as they can be while still remaining accessible :)
