The AMD Radeon Pro Duo may will cost almost 1700 euros

They aren't targeting gamers in the first place. Prices in Australia fluctuate quite a bit due to a verity of factors. The release price in Australia will always be inflated, however over time it will settle closer the price at which is available from othercoutries that have distributors importing them.

The UK taxation system is really no better than the one in AU. If anything it is a crap load worse. The only reason the prices there are still similar to the AU ones is due to the value of the currency.

Consumer rights are a different story.

Aussie market doesn't mean squat. It just aids in determining what is imported. Not the price.

FYI JR CPL is not a store you should even consider comparing to OCUK.

Well you got the pricing wrong on the 970 & the Fury X, either way it's still not going to be a cheap card my guess it's still going to be a $2000 or more GPU ^_^

Why are the prices for all four cards not wrong? They all came from CPL today, they are all available to buy and include taxes but not shipping, just like the prices from OCUK. I've no idea if that is a preferable retailer, they may be particularly expensive or cheap for all I know.

Yeah I get that in your opinion it's expensive, of course it is, but in any currency it's not even half way to being close to a Titan Z.

The pricing seemed consistent with techbuy on the few things I checked, they just had a wider variety of products to compare. Techbuy is the only Australian retailler i've used personally, they always seemed excellent and relatively well priced, if it wasn't for tax when it landed here.

Don't use CPL if your going to compare pricing use PC Case Gear.

With the pricing for the GTX970 PC Case Gear is cheaper & same for the Fury X.

Not really helping your case there KOOS.

There aren't many decent stores in AU

The only ones major ones are PCCG and PLE and even they arent perfect (ofc not saying any are). With most of the rest you are purchasing the products akin to that of second hand goods. I. E no warranty. Generally they will be BNIB though. Unless the retailer is really dodgy.

The variation between PCCG and CPL isn't much, no different to comparing OCUK with ebuyer. From what I can observe and from when i've looked in the past Australian pricing has always been just slightly under UK pricing assuming the trading value of each currency is the relative value of each currency. And i've bought stuff from Australia, had it shipped all the way here and it's still relatively well priced until tax has been paid in the UK.

The discussion here is the Radeon Pro Duo pricing, and compared with previous dual GPU solutions the rumor seems accurate. And relative to the Titan Z, considering performance, it's not in the same league of overpriced. That's not going to change in any currency and if anything it would be worse in the UK.

I have never had an issue with PCCG

That is just a BS excuse these for companies to say that

I will go on what i think the pricing is going to be, like i said i have been pretty spot on lately for pricing :)

No it isn't. Its called capitalism.

So you're just speculating then? Especially as you stated you're an EVGA/nVidia fanboy you could just be sh**posting.
