sucks ass at ocing. i can only get about 5 mhz memory and 10 mhz core. css runs pretty decently cause it has an efficient engine, but everything else is under 20 fps. i was hoping to try the chaos theory demo, gets about .3 fps on medium.

maybe you should try increasing the voltage by flashing to another bios or maybe do a voltage trick ( the pencil trick or the resistor one altogh i v never tried one)

The 5200 loses out on power more than anything else... about that voltmodding, do you know where we can find guides for different NV cards? I'd like to mod mine also. Adrian's Rojak Pot was a great resource for my ATi 9800Pro, but I've seen no 5xxx/6xxx voltmod guides...

I don't feel like doing a volt mod, but I may flash another bios for this thing. I'll have to find some extra hs around and tape them onto the memory. Maybe I can put my stock x800 crap on it, it's just laying around being useless anyway. I wish the bios had gpu voltage like my new board.

You mean AGP voltage? Anyway if you have an x800 kicking around why aren't you using that?! Or do you only have those parts...

Hell yeah, that'd be sick to be able to control gpu voltage through the bios... I'd be in 7th heaven :)

I have it in my newer computer and I'm too lazy to take it out. I don't trust my gigabyte board anymore too cause it was acting all wierd and got my 2800 to 97C, I think it's trying to kill it.

I've had that before with except with a Geforce 256. (Did you know those things will play HL2 at 40-50 FPS??)

I had found a guide for voltmodding on the web yesterday that might be useful if you changed your mind and decided to try one. It doesn't do specifically for your card, more like tells how to find voltage controllers and look up their details on the web. That's useful though, allows you to mod virtually anything if you wanted.
