What does this do exactly?

Are they stress testing their servers or is it for us to sress test out PCs.

Stress test means they try to get loads of players on to stress the servers to see if they work fine for release.

And MW2... looking at some of the code, they only tested the game on LAN and virtual networks.

well its a little buggy and glitchy, doesnt seem to like my 5870 - getting screen flicker.

Got kicked back to desktop when entering casino, filled a report in.

Looks good in principal, nothing spectacular though.

eminds me of burnout really.
