Do no t read any further unless you've seen the film ...

Oky took family today to see Terminator Salvation and well personally didn't like the film at all.

All so the part were Arne appears does any one think that looked so fake .....

not my cup of tea at all .. any thoughts on it ...

Thought it was really good actually, thoroughly enjoyed the whole film.

Loads of action, decent charactors and a pretty good plot. I thought the Arnie bit was pretty well done considering actually.

Both me and my mates are big Terminator fans and we all thought it was a pretty damn good movie.

Well i though the acting was crass and dull and the plot line was oky.

But the effects for arnie were just pure rubbish ...

Mind you i do love a good sci-fi and well there is to much rubbish out. On the other hand Start trek left me gob smacked and im not a ST fan....

Found the film to rely a lot on action.

Where was al the depth into the story in this one?

All the previous ones had some deep story tellings.

T2 was the best imho. 8-)

Star Trek left me totally nonplussed. Thought it was 'ok', but all in all an average film that sold itself on being an 'action' Star Trek but relied too heavily on nostalgia for those who actually like Star Trek

The effects for Arnie were pretty decent considering it was all CGI, it was only there momentarily and was a nice touch with an old familiar face.

There was a lot of action agreed. There was some depth there too with the Sarah Conner tapes and the man/terminator. Sure it isn't as good as T2, but then frankly I wasn't expecting the film to even approach T2 so had a pleasant surprise.

I pretty much agree with this. I am a massive Terminator fan and have been ever since I watched them when I was little. Used to watch T2 every weekend.

T3 was just released for the sake of it in my opinion, but this one actually had something to it and is a worthy entry to the series. I enjoyed it and thought the story was a good start to get the proper war going. I too thought the Arnie CGI was well done as well.

I left there thinking I'd actually seen a Terminator film and not just another money spinner.

Bring on the next two!

spooky, i watched both the new terminator and star trek films last night.

loved both! Liked the references to the older terminators. Arnie, trying to melt him, then freeze him etc. Even the line "i'll be back" made an appearance. Acting was pretty good, Christian Bale is always good!

I'm not a star trek fan at all, but i enjoyed the film. Glad they made it for the masses instead of just the star trek fans. Scotty made me laugh, good old simon peg.

Decent films, both of them.

Star Trek was obviously made to pave the way for a new era of films.

Terminator.. dunno - was good - something was missing tho.
