I know to get accurate temps you really need a probe however which reading is the most reliable? I have just put my system together, currently everything is stock, stock cooling etc.

My X2 4400 (2.21Ghz/1.26V) is reading the following temps:

BIOS: 30C

Smart guardian: 28C

Sandra: 40C

Which one should I take notice of? I don't have a case atm ambient air is around 24C

Thanks.

BIOS and Smart Guardian.

I get 50C load with a XP90C at 1.365 at 2600mhz, so a bit toasty. Temps are good at stock, but once you clock, they shoot up.

You could take a mean average, then u'd end up with about 33*C. You're really in to ya overclocking, so perhaps u should invest in a proper thermometer! :p
