Tell me something I don't know (literally)

I was like that when I was younger. I felt like I had to be around people all the time. Then I got to 16 and it completely reversed. Problem is I lived in a very busy part of London and everywhere I went there was at least some one who knew me. That really used to annoy me as I got older, as I felt I couldn't get any peace.

So I upped and moved.. To America :D that fixed it :D

Since then I have been a lot more picky about who I let into my life (that would be pretty much no one).
That's interesting! I tried moving and I couldn't stay for more than 6 months, I felt depressed and I missed home. Honestly, I didn't really like the country, the culture was too different, the people were cold... I would love to move to The Netherlands though, I've heard they have a lot of fun :D:cool:

Yup the culture is a shock alright. People think that America is very similar to the UK but that is nonsense. For the first three years my IBS went absolutely ballistic due to them using weird ingredients in their food. I got a $3600 fine from the IRS for not paying any work taxes (I didn't even know you had to do it all yourself etc) and so on. The road rules are completely different.. Even things like ambient noise in a cafe or restaurant are just weird.

I had never moved home until I was 27. I figured I wouldn't be able to do it, but I have been all over the place since :) kinda like riding a bike I suppose.
