TalkTalk has been fined £400,000 over the theft of customer details after hackers were able to take the personal data of over 150,000 customers "with ease".

This is the largest fine that ICO has ever imposed, getting close to the commission's maximum fine of £500,000. TalkTalk has revealed that the attack has already cost the company £42 Million and has cost the company 101,000 subscribers.

Good, they're a terrible company, I hope they go bankrupt and get shut down. They've always been rubbish, crap service, crap support, crap everything. Sooner they go under the better.

Amen. My folks used to use TalkTalk. Now after this fiasco Mum has had her card details stolen and we used to get countless phone calls from "TalkTalk" scammers.

I actually listened to the guy and pretended to do everything he said, the man was trying to gain control of my PC. Lol.

What a joke... Those scammers even pulled this stunt on my aunt, she literally put the whole thing on record and just told em to **** themselves in a polite tone

What the hell, they should have been fined at least 1 million. Just because of the cold calling and scammers that are now hounding all the customers.
