Talk to the nice microsoft lady in India ?

I reinstalled Vista a few weeks ago, with the change of harddrive came the need to call m$ and get a nice Indian lady to vet my key.

Now I want to change to 64bit back to 32bit, but I`m also contemplating switching out the Q6600 for the shiney Q9450 I have here.

Cpu change warrant another chat with m$ ?

I`m guessing that if I don`t reinstall and just changeout the cpus, it`d screwup my key validation anyway ?

CPU change shouldn't bother it mate. When I changed over from my Q6600 Vista never cracked the sooks

i think its only when you change motherboard, or chipset, that it whines at you...

I believe the main issue is a change in the number of cores.

Both are Quads so it is okay.

It will install it like any other piece of hardware.. you won't have to talk to the LADY unless you changed a lot of hardware within this install.

I really don't mind about talking to the lady, they seem pleasant and helpful.
