Take Unreal Engine 4 Elemental Tech Demo for a Spin

W0000T I didn't realise you could walk around, I thought it was just that dragon man type thing demo.

There's 5 different interactive demos in total and then the non interactive elemental one

No clue, I just know it runs in real time and looks the gonads even at 720P ^_^

It looks really effin' nice, the lava and glow looks really sexeh. Downloading the interactive one now.

Just run this on my rig (check sig), in 1080p I was getting an average of 34fps

I'm a subscriber to Unreal Engine 4 and it is pretty amazing but as I am a total noob I have a lot of learning to do lol



Regarding an earlier question whether any of it was raytraced, The actual demo within UE4 editor it is totally realtime, no raytracing or prerendered scenes. All the shaders obviously compiled in the editor.

Servers are to full it's quoting me nearly 2 days to download them both.

Will try tomorrow or later tonight and see if the servers are abit faster.

I got it running and quietly surprised it pretty smooth considering my AMD slow mo - Although something went terribly wrong.

Well I managed to grab the 5 Tech Demo pack from Techpowerup but the Elemental one was corrupted so, grabbing it now from Guru.

The ones that will work for me in the 5 pack all seem to run at 60fps solid but won't go above really and it doesn't use both my cards.

Have recorded a few videos though.
