SYS_FAN2, SYS_FAN3 SYS_FAN4 not working

Hey guys, I just bought 2 SP120 fans for my case and if I plug them in, only one works in one fan header, is there any reason for this? Just put a new RM750 in with them too, on a Gigabyte GA-Z87X-UD5H running 4770k and GTX670.

Thanks

It think most Sys_Fan headers on that board are 4 pin (so you can control the fan speeds) and your fans only have 3 pins, unless they're the PWM version. It may sound really stupid, but are you sure that you've plugged them in to the correct 3 pins? There are notches on the headers so they fit into eachother.

Also, SP120 fans are for radiators, AF120s are casefans.

my SP120 refuses to work on my motherboard's CPU_FAN header (it cycles between 20,000 RPM, N/A and 15,000) so I have it running of my power supply and instead use my LED AF120 on that header incase my temperatures suddenly go bonkers. Which they never do (38c max supposedly...)

Also, case fans should be run of the power supply or a fan controller.

The thing I found with my Gigabyte Z87X-OC board is that although the CPU_OPT and most SYS_FAN headers are 4-pin, they're not PWM fan headers, only the CPU_FAN header is.

Sorry OP, this doesn't answer your question I know.
