I'd actually disagree. I know I'm gonna sound like a picky turd but with all the flaws of the 5080, including power delivery, driver problems, low VRAM amount, missing ROPs, PhysX being dropped quietly, poor performance jump from 4080, I would say the the 5080 is a mid card even if it were priced competitively. I'd actually say Blackwell is the worst architecture since Fermi for gamers.
The Noctua Edition 40$0 was ironically the only one of that generation I'd 've put out for; both Nvidia and Asus I wouldn't usually touch even heavily discounted: I like the cut of neither's jib as companies; but I'd seen an "As much Noctua brown and beige as you can get build" and really liked the aesthetic! But both are beyond taking the how's your father at this juncture. The toilet won't flush unless you pull the chain.
