Greetings all. :)

ive been searching the net and im having trouble finding the dimensions of the 810s fan bay at the top of the case.

If someone that owns the case can provide the WxLxD id appreciate it

Thanks

im mainly interested in the depth of the bay so i can see what my options are. the case retails for $220 over in Aus so id rather know before i buy it

im trying not to sound like a tool,
but does it matter i just want the depth of the fan bay.

can i stick a custom 50mm thick fan in the top and still have the cover on ?
or a ex xspc rad with a scythe slim line fan ?

i realise those are both crappy combinations but im just trying to find out all the info about the case i can before i buy it

I don't think you sound like a tool in the slightest.
Wanting the dimensions before you make a plan is a good idea. Especially in a case like the Switch.
Unfortunately I don't have the answers for you. Shouldn't be impossible to get them though. Plenty of people on this board own the case.

Im confused why you would want too tbh...

50mm fan = Feser and they are shit.

Rad up there.... why not inside?

Just sounds like you are making life more difficult for no reason.

I think he was just making shitty examples to point out why he is asking

Maybe, but back to Tom's point - 'what do you want to put up there OTHER than fans'
There's no need to get thicker fans, so it'll fit 25s, and there's no need to put a rad up there if it can go underneath.

I completely understand your point about planning your case and everything - but it may be easier to advise if we knew what you were putting up...

For example - I could ask for the dimensions of the same area in my CM 690. The dimensions would show that I'd be able to fit up 140mm fans there - but because of how the case is angled at the edges the 140mms don't fit above, rendering the initial question pointless.

If you told us any possible options, we can also come up with other places to fit them, not just limited to providing WxDxH. We are trying to help here mate :)
