Stuck on what monitor to use.

The human eye can see a difference, depending on colour and brightness.

But, 120hz monitors are very expensive for what they are, considering you only get a slightly more fluid game, but lose out on colour reproduction.

If the price difference was up to £50, then yeh, go with 120hz,. but it's unlikely.

Also - you have to spend a lot lot more on graphics to benefit from the difference. In most cases to fully benefit, you're looking at another £250-300 for the improved graphics (SLI/Crossfire) plus the additional cost of the monitor. Not worth it for a slightly more fluid game IMO.

I ended up getting the white version of the BenQ, still tempted to cancel order.... I'm really not sure about it though since there aren't many reviews out there for it.

EDIT: I am not sure if I would recommend this monitor after reading the reviews, people have said the stand is terribad, blacks appear slightly purple, backlight bleed on the corners (very noticable apparently) and that the viewing angles are terrible (darkening of the edge furthest away from you). I do not know if these where just faulty products or if it is the actual model.

While looking for my monitor I came across this: http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0081VNA...de=asn&creative=22206&creativeASIN=B0081VNAUM

and the reviews on this where all positive (ones by expert sites) and considering that when you use a computer you tend to sit at the perfect distance from the monitor so viewing angles of IPS become irrelevant, also its a VA panel so the colour reproduction should be quite good natively.

I have canceled my order on the other monitor for this one.
