This evenings Microsoft 10 Event has revealed some very interesting upcoming designs, one being that you can stream your Xbox One to your PC or tablet device, provided they have Windows 10 installed.

Microsoft's Phil Spencer had this to say "Wouldn't it be great if we could play those [Xbox One games] anywhere in the house?"

During the live event, Forza Horizon 2 was shown streamed to a Windows Surface tablet which only requires a one time set up process to establish a connection between devices, similiar to when setting up a Wi-Fi connection between your router and your mobile handset. The games can then be accessed on any Windows 10 device by simply selecting the game icon from the Xbox App.

Phil Spencer also noted that some Xbox One games' multi-player modes will connect with Windows 10 devices. "We think enabling people to play multi-player games on Windows 10, across Xbox One and Windows 10 will unlock the potential of Xbox Live."

If I can start the game on my PC just like using PLEX to start a movie from my server, then I would have a good reason to purchase from the MS store even with their inflated prices.

Could be interesting but I do not believe it will be available for games like Call Of Duty, Halo, Battlefield and other FPS games as it will, cause all the people who play those games on the console to complain that they cannot get, the same quality of content for Youtube.

I am currently mainly playing Destiny on the Xbox One, with very little time spent playing games on my pc and if I could play the likes of Call Of Duty, Halo and others on the pc, but streamed from the Xbox then I would be happy as I am sick and tired of the poor versions of games on the pc compared, to the Xbox versions.

i wanted to play halo master chief collection on pc but this isn't what i had in mind

Dont get too excited over it (ref: Halo MCC). We are talkng a port of a port of a port. I'm not kidding. The fps drops on xb one is horrendous. I bought this and I am really disappointed with the performance. Let alone the issues we all have with multiplayer

I like this feature for Windows 10 however.
