strange restart issue

I changed my case today and when I restart my pc, it turns off, then turns on, goes to the mobo screen, then turns off, turns on and then it works fine.

any ideas what might be wrong? It was working fine before I changed the case

I had an issue similar to this when i cleaned out an old machine not long ago, my best guess was it was shorting on the case somewere after taking it out and trying it on a box with no problems, i dropped it back into the case and it worked first try after that, never worked out why it wasnt playing ball first try.
