Not really played many games recently mate, not had the time. Just got a few cheap ones in the sales which I'll try spend some time on over Christmas holidays. Nothing particularly special, just Postal 2, HL2, Counter Strike complete pack, GTA III, and Vice City. Just downloaded them all last night :)

The game I've been enjoying the most recently has been Kerbal Space Program, but it's time consuming, has a steep learning curve, still in alpha, and perhaps won't appeal to a lot of people anyway. It's been on sale 40% off on Steam a few times recently too, it's currently 33% off.

I wouldn't mind a online rpg as well but not sure what's best, I might just get The Witcher, although I think it's just single player, looks a good game though. Really might risk it and get Day Z, looks really awesome, I guess at least they are open in warning the game is buggy.

Yeah I'm sure I'll get DayZ before long, I'll have a trawl around the interwebs to see what people are saying about it before I get it, just to see how buggy it is.

If there are crash bugs, system freezing or anything then I won't buy it since those type of bugs just make me angry and fast.

Just looking at Origin but they don't seem to have many great games on sale. Next shall try Ubisoft/Uplay.

Edit: Hang on, is The Witcher 3 not out yet? O.o

can't say there is anything I fancy in the sale most of it's the same old games.

Remmy if you want tips on kerbal look up Scott Manley on YT most of his videos are kerbal

What did you buy barnsley? :)
The bioshock games, spore, Asseto corsa. Its payday for me so I don't think i'll last much longer before I buy more games :3. I really shouldn't be buying too much though as I need a new case and a fan controller. (my one has rattling side panels and an audio input jack that has gone into the case) Being me I'm eyeing up some cases that are the same price/more than the cost of my cpu .

spore is a cool game, i wish there was a more mature version of it.

I was eying up Assesto Corsa, do I don't I?!

Are there any games out there that you wouldn't usually look at but turned out amazing? I remember knowing nothing of Left 4 Dead, one of my favorite games ever, so many hours I spent on that.

If you like the Left 4 dead games, you should check out the payday games. If you have 2 to 3 buddys to play, it can be a ton of fun. I read on the net that playing with random people can be meh though.

You have to play with friends as voice comms is pretty damn useful. payday2 has been a mess (Its bluescreened on me and won't go to 1080p) but they've been doing a lot of patching on it so I now have to say payday 2>payday 1.

I got the game on PS3 before my new rig build and its crap without friends. I don't have any friends that have a gaming rig now. :( All console boys.

I was looking at Assesto Corsa may get it if it goes below £20 but not sure as I'm not that great a driver

I bought this at just under £20 when it was version 1.0, when the hype for it was low.......now that its acknowledged as an excellent racing sim and the player pool has incresed, so has its price.

Best I can find is £21.12, and i doubt that it will ever go under £20... (unless extremely lucky)
