i don't know if it can be fixed if it's the engine causing the issues.

I'm hoping to buy the Caterpillar now, turns out the Starfarer could end up costing several 100$ and that is probably a bit steep for the time being.
The Caterpillar isn't going to be cheap though. I have friends who can crew it with me as well.
While I was doing some reasearch I found some guy's signature on the RSI forum. It looks like one guy has more power than the entirety of our fleet :S. The guy even has a corvette.

This is not an exact replica of CE3 from Crytek.. its been modded to better suit they're needs. They could easily find the problem and fix it.

yh theres quite a few people like that but nearly all of them are original backers from the kickstarter campaign. so they get everything quite abit cheaper on the store. i just think its for epeen tho tbh because lets face it you can only fly one ship at a time and who really needs 2 or 3 of each ship

did you see the guy has 2 starfarers...
2 merchantmen as well :S. I'm guessing he's spent close to $10K on the game...

If he has the money and nothing else to spend it on then in all honesty good for him. The more he buys the more they can spend to make a better game.

About ships, I have the basic aurora as ive got no clue what I want to do. Probally some sort of merchantile stuff but I dont know yet.

I just don't see how being a merchant will be fun when you have all these other ships shooting at you before you can escape.

The guys who mostly will play this game in a more pirate-esque role will not attack you if you pay them/give them a bribe. I know of a few Pirate organisations who you can pay a small fee to leave you alone. Heck I'm even currently trying to find a couple of orgs who will sell me goods that they don't want.

its just that in all the other games i play im shooting people and i can never fly for sh1t. at least as a merchant i dont have to shoot people which in a plane ive always sucked at..
Okay just read through the thread and got to get into this myself now.
Question: If we are all joining the OC3D fleet, does that basically just give us all a title, or can we actually store all our ships together in a handgar? It would be neat to have them all in one place, see us all walking around each other, walk past a ship and it says "Mr. Kambos ship" or whatever.

I think you'll be able to get clan bases eventually. I'd imagine they'll be more expensive then the corvette carrier, which was designed to be for clans. It'll be amazing although judging by the current fleet, half of the hanger will just be Cru's stuff

nah not really. at least my hangar looks completely empty! i think i got like 18 spots in mine, gonna record a short video
