If you are like me and need to be able to test websites in multiple versions of IE, then you'll know that its a right pain in the a$$ to uninstall your current version of IE, and re-install an older one (sometimes its not even possible at all).
Well...bring on the drumroll, because below is links to XMS special 'Local' IE installs.
All you have to do is unzip the file, and then run iexplore.exe from the folder, then you will be able to use that version of IE as if it was installed on your machine, and just delete the folder when you are finished
Internet Explorer 3.0 For NT/2K/XP/2k3
Internet Explorer 4.01 For NT/2K/XP/2k3
Internet Explorer 5.01SP2 For NT/2K/XP/2k3
Internet Explorer 5.5SP2 For NT/2K/XP/2k3
Thanks to Austin for webspace
