Here's the issue I'm having - I got the CPU at 200x20 for 4.0 at 1.3 but sometimes instead of a BSOD it just shuts down - no error screens no nothing! Happened while Priming and F@H today

The memory is at 2005mhz at 8-9-8-24 timings and it's at 1.55 and 1.65v. Do you reckon it's a power issue? Should I take a pic of my BIOS settings and post it on here?

PS: Forgot to say that in CPU-Z I get a higher voltage than on the BIOS. For instance I had it at 1.35 in the BIOS at one point and it showed 1.4. At 1.32 CPU-Z shows 1.37, 1.30 is 1.325 etc.

thats the exact thing that happen to me! coincidence much

try gaming, i dare you, Its not a power issue, lower the mem to 1600mhz or try 21x192 as ur things

What about the higher voltage? I set it to 1.35 in BIOS and I'm currently getting 1.400 :/ My temps have sky-rocketed while folding.

1.35 for 4ghz! set it to 1.32 then keep lowering it, that what I did and I have 1.28v fully stable, trying to get lower atm with some new settings that I just gave (which are giving lower temps by about a couple of degrees

I had it stable at 1.28 before I clocked the ram and I had just finished priming and clicked the start button on my way to shutting down/rebooting and it just shut down instantly

I'm totally confused.

you have to think of this as a good thing, you were gonna shut down ur pc and it did it for you

Yeah but I just can't figure out why I'm getting a different voltage and a higher one at that and why I can't keep it stable. Right now it's set at 1.35 in BIOS and shows 1.4 but it's been totally stable for the past hour at 1600mhz for the ram at the same timings. Could it be that I have a really bad mem controller? It wouldn't shut down on its own earlier without the ram clocked, though

Ok, right. Now everything is at the stock settings and is running stable for long enough so I can type this here are the settings it was at:

AI Overclock Tuner: Manual(Stupid Asus stuff)

try these settings

Okay well with Tallun's settings even at 1.35 it does not work. BSOD the moment I run Small FTTs. Noticed there is an immense change in the voltage when I Prime - from 1.35 all the way down to 1.288.

It's priming away right now to test if the bclk is stable at a lower multiplier. Had hardly anything else I could think of :/

Nono. The ram's set at 1603 for the time being and the QPI is at 1.55 which if I'm not mistaken should be ok. You know I might just have the world's worst 950

Silicone lottery dude. May just need more volts than most fella.

Yeah but it's not even stable at 1.37 :S I got it at 3.6 now 1.25v. Jayzews.. Might as well have bought a 930. Really was hoping you'd say I was doing something wrong. Anyway.. I'm going to whack it up to 1.4 and see what happens... so pissed off. I might just have the ONLY 950 that won't do 4 at a decent voltage which would be fine if I could afford another one but I can't :S
