SSD vs. HDD

Should I put my drivers, anti-virus, and things like that, on an SSD or an HDD?

I'm not one of the Guru's but I've read on one of the threads it's best to have all OS, programs, Anti virus/malware/spyware etc, App's, game boot installs on SSd and use mechanical HDD for general storage if your going to be using both

it depends how big it is a 60gb SSD is gna get full quite quick so i would just stick the OS on it were as a 128gb would hold the OS and Few programs (like PS,office and the likes)

it does not make no diff to games or media

Turn off system restore (system protection in Win7) as well as to disable hibernate if you don't use it (powercfg -h off in a cmd prompt). This will save probably 5-8GB of space.

Excellent suggestions. I agree with using the SSD for proggies and the HDDs for storage too. After you've installed and are happy then go into Services and turn off auto on all processes you don't need, it will give you a slight edge. Its also the geeky way to do things. I did see an interesting idea of comparing HDDs in raid config vs SSDs too btw.
