SSD Query

I recently got in my SSD, installed windows 7 on it and did some other things to try and improve boot up times etc

However i'm confused about one thing. One my BIOS my main storage device is my HDD and it is the primary boot device in the BIOS aswell instead to the Vertex 3 drive i'm using. However when I try to change the first boot up device to the SSD the computer is telling me there is nothing to boot from. Should I be worried? :S

ur ssd should be on the first sata connector then ur hdd(s) then opticals. This might help that issue
