SSD from a Mac?

Hello people,
Right looking around on eBay and there are a few SSD's from Mac's and MacBook's going pretty cheap and that's what's making me think....
Would an SSD from an Apple device work with a Windows based machine if it was formatted for a windows machine?
Cheers.

Aye like Alien said, and not unlike early HP laptops they tend to use a proprietary sata connector.

My Macbook Air came with 64gb. First thing I wanted to do was upgrade the SSD to a 128 minimum. They were expensive, and buying one with an adapter was more so I didn't bother.

Will look into it again when the SSD/Memory prices reduce from the LOLprice they are now.

For now I have a 32gb USB memory stick that I use with some music etc on it.
