Hi all, my first post here.
I am having a problem where I have loaded Windows 7 onto an SSD, and every few seconds to a few minutes Windows freezes for a few minutes. I have no idea what to do about this, but its frustrating me to bits.
I do have another (main build) with an old 74Gb Raptor as my system drive and other drives for storage, and games etc. and all I have been doing is un hooking all my drives to install Windows 7 onto the SSD so I can swap it all back in/out while I try and sort this problem.
Here are my system specs:
CPU: Intel i7 2700k @ 4.6Ghz (Water cooled.)
GPU: GTX580.
RAM: 16Gb DDR3 1333Mhz
MB: Asus Maximus IV Extreme.
HDD: 3x 74Gb WD Raptors (One as system Drive – the other two as separate games drives) + 2x 500Gb Storage drives + a 1TB Drive. Or my SSD which is freezing.
OS: Win7 64Bit SP1.
Display: 2x 22” Monitors.
Case: CM HAF X.
The motherboard is revision 1.xx, with the BIOS upsated to version 2105.
I did get a second hand SSD, and I do agree that it could be the problem. If there is no fix yet I do have the option to buy a new SSD in about a weeks time.
Here's some piccys of my gaming rig...

Thanks for taking a look guys,
Brian
