Speakers + Headset ???????

hey guys ive got my system up and running and i finally got a vengeance 2000 but im trying to figure out how to have the sound go to both the headset and the pc speakers for when im not using the headset. i can switch between the two by setting which device is the default but this method sucks is there any whay to have them outputting sound simultaneously. obviously i dont want to have the sound blasting from both at the same time mute the speakers when the headset is on. power off the headset when the speakers are being used. is there a way to set win7 to output to both at the same time. cheers for the help guys

I have the same question, before I got my Vengeance 2000 i just used a y-splitter on the output.

You cant. Unless your Sound card supports 4 way output.

I use a very small aplication which creates a shortcut to change the default soundcard. So if I want to change from headphones to speaker I just do Alt + 1 (or another number, is refered to the list of devices, so the first is 1, and so on).

And that worked for me just fine.

I can send you that if you want, when I get home. Its a home made thing I found a guy did in a forum. And yes its virus/malware free.
