sparkle calibre 770 4gb advice needed

Hey guys n gals,

I'm currently planning to buy this card when it comes out as I've decided that it'd be better for both temps and noise then getting another xfx 7870 when the crossfire patch is released.

I've been a huge fan of this cooler design since I saw the 670 version of this for sale on overclockers and I think it is a beaut.

My question is, should I buy it when it comes out or has the heat got to me and I should go for a bigger brand? I've not found out much about sparkle and I want to know if anyone here has had a good experience with their cards?

I'm also aware that the cooler design is quite similar to the Gainward Phantom card but I believe this will be cheaper if I compare the 670s when they were for sale.

I've had horrific experiences with Nvidia cards in both the past and the present (the gts 450 I use on my other rig is unstable, runs hot and occasionally refuses to run at anything higher than 300mhz without a restart) so I need this to be a reliable card as well.

I have never used a Sparkle video card but i can recommend the GTX 770. I just upgraded to it from a GTX 480 sli build and the difference is amazing. It has more power than both my old 480s combined and runs cool and quite. I got the msi gaming edition card (which i would highly recommend). Nvidias 400 series was a time of high power consumption and lots of HEAT! the 770/Kepler architecture solves all these problems. Very efficient and powerful! As far as brand personally i would try to stay more with Msi, Asus, Gigabyte and evga. Hope this helpful.
