Great find

A little harsh to call it botched.. It's been terrific so far and I haven't had any major problems with it (Home Premium 64). I had more problems with XP64 for when I tried that. Obviously XP is quicker in games etc but I find the Vista a lot more pleasing and easy to use.

.. it`s FREAKIN SLOW !!!!

Gotta turn *this* off, turn *that* off.. basically take all the new stuff out, in order to get anything over 10mb.

EDIT: Meant to ask. If u applied such a SP to a stripped down windows install, does it just ignore the likes of IE updates and move on ?

What you want to do is make a new stripped down version of your OS and add the SP to it.. should work fine then.
