It's only a minor suggestion, you don't really have to listen to me. It's still an awesome photo! :D

Haven't used lightroom before, does it have a "levels" adjustment? Or even something similar to Photoshop's "curves"? Just to add a small bit of softness in the flower one, not too much to cut out the sharp boldness theme you have.

Good point actually....

Yh it has level adjusments... u get a slider for all almost settings :) plenty of graphs and stuff to manipulate as well....

Cheers!

They are slightly processed, only exposures though, I lie... I did some colour work on the squirrel pictures as they where too red for my liking. I used both Lightroom 2 and Photoshop, depends on the image.

No, I do not have a deviant art account, these are the first "proper pictures" I have taken, all the others have been me messing about with shiny things like waterblocks lol. May get one though, I enjoyed taking these pictures!

Kl Kl.... i think im in the same situation as you, the cam was gona be used for taking pics in reviews, but after playing around in the garden i find it quite relaxing...

now all i need is a new lens, the kit lens on the a200 has too short a zoom :(

If you cannot afford a decent zoom lens, grab a telephoto filter and use manual focus and you are away! will give you x2 zoom, although it does not look as good, it is a good start

good idea...ill have a look around :)

I do in fact :P you can get filters called "close up" they are small lenses that screw onto the end of your normal lens and then allows you to take macro shots

I love those, use them for hardware shots. +1, +4 and +10 filters allow me to put my camera nearly on the hardware instead of the normal 40cm distance.

Sweet! Thanks a lot for that! I've been dieing to get a decent macro lense, but the prices make me cry inside...

May as well turn this thread into everyone's recent pictures :p
