Thanks, added. Hurry up Tom

Not as good as expected but still the fastest single card with a lower temps and TDP. Still improvements in performance to come from refined drivers which could give up to 10% better performance.

We also still have the 7950, 7870 and 7850 to come, it's going to be interesting to see how they perform as well.

Shame about having to wait till the 9th Tom

but at least we have something to look forward to

It's a good card at a price. (which will come down I'm sure after the dust settles)

I have a question tho: what the heck is an "EVGA GeForce GTX 560 Ti 2Win" and how haven't I seen it about ?!

In fairness to not seeing any performance benefits switching mobos to pcie3.0 from 2.0 (and I may be way off target with this) - but I'm almost certain that as it stands, the current pcie3.0 and bioses for mobos is slanted towards giving priority to sata use. Merely because it's understandable that other forms of transport other than sata weren't available at the time. I'd envisage bios updates that may share the wealth a bit more maybe. Be nice to think that getting a premium board that is "pcie3.0 ready" means you'd see some sort of benefit from a pci3.0 card, and we aren't going to see "pcie3.0 ready" stickers over gfxcard boxes that merely mean "they work in the slot".

Well that's certainly quite impressive, not quite as impressive as some bar charts have made out but certainly top dog...for now

Let's be fair, every manufacturer when they release slides or graphics or drivers for things tends to blast the public with fancy numbers that hardly ever have a basis in reality.

We've all seen the nvidia driver update page saying "this beta driver will give 40% increase in performance for XYZ game" - it's clear "performance" doesn't mean fps. If it did, 100 fps would be 140 !

They been tested....nice surprise

Some of the tests were really impressive while others were not so good. Overall it looks like a decent card. Any x-fire benches out yet?

You also have to remember these are reference cards that are running on 11.11b drivers which are not fully optimized, they also only have a reference cooler making them hotter and louder than they will be with a good aftermaket cooler such as a DCUII, Twin FrozR etc.

When the non ref cards from Asus, Giga etc come out with factory overclocks we will see even better performance as well as better drivers.

There is a x-fire review at HH.Performance with a single gpu is good, and x-fire is amazing

Good card but only about 25% better then the 580... lets say 30% with better drivers still i was expecting more from what they were saying...

I still think nvidia will do better... great card none the less but was expecting more like 50-60% better then the 580...
