Thought I would put some pics up of my little corner of the world. It's not bad, and can be quite comfy. New chair is win.

And here we go!

Had to stand on the bed... room is a bit small

New monitor I got last week. Samsung SyncMaster P2450. It's ok. My old HP f2105 is still really quite nice though. Has been really dependable and well worth the money I spent on it.

Tried to get a better picture of just the top, but camera isn't that great.

So there ya go. I like it, it's comfy. Now I just need a nice SnowWhite rig to set in here somewhere

Like the desk, marble?

Take a pic of your rig, and post specs.

Will do, but waiting for a few parts to get here. you can check my profile and see the specs, it's nothing too special right now, but after a couple of planned mods and the new parts it should be quite nice to not only look at, but work with.

Desktop is technically granite(much harder than marble) it's shiny. and smooth.

I really want to set up the triple monitors... but cost is always an object. having 3 of the samsung monitors would make it an epic setup.

Yes the desk does way a ton. 2 person minimum just to move the top. good eye though, that is a nice granite foot rest. I made it with a kind of flat/rounded edge on it. if you use it like a foot massage its sooo awesome.

Hayley u are very welcome. and also thank you. But i really like your server... trade?

yeah, they have great sound. I have actually tried to replace them twice, but the next ones i got did not sound as good. they are getting dated though, could really use an upgrade.

ahh you may. It actually did not cost me much, mostly because I made it myself. It is my profession. If I made this piece for someone else it would cost somewhere in the neighborhood of $2k. That's just because I did a bit of customization with it and spent a lot of time on it. If it was just a top to add to a desk that did not require a lot of time, they can be as inexpensive as $300 - $500.
