Guys,

we need at least two mbot scores posted on 3dmark05 league.

The scores need to be above 5500 3dmarks so that we can leap frog extremesystems to make EP-UK the number one TEAM.

This is the link to the thread with instructions on how to enter:

http://www.extremeprometeia.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1745

Don't delay, post your score in 3dmark2005 (as long as it's greater than 5500 points) and make us the number one in 2005.

Cheers

Mav

should have mine in a couple of weeks... was over 5k with stock cooling and no effort of an overclock, so should break 5.5k comfortably...

even if its less, does it matter ? once someone with more posts it will jump back up... its only the top 10 average isnt it ?

I guess as longs as it's higher than the current lowest score it wont make much difference in the shrot term.

But preferably higher scores to be posted.

But knocking the lower scores out of the to ten benchmarks is also desireable - from a team perspective.

LETS GET EXTREME

MAV ;)

I made a mistake as to regards the minimum score required - the leaderboard is made up of the top 10 scores from each team.

For us to improve, we need to post scores higher than 7500 in 3dmark2005.

There is some good news - the EP Mbot is a bit slow on the update, looking here

http://213.224.90.80:7001/mbot/listTeams.do

We are no1 one in 3dmark2005 WUHOO

Lets keep getting the score in and put some more distance between us and the number one spot.

Cheers

if pushing (max with say w/cing) IMO

30 odd k in 3d01

14k-15k in 3d03

5k-6.5k in 3d05

not sure about aquamark, 90k maybe ?

bearing in mind 3d01 and aquamark are VERY system intensive, others gfx mostly, so those scores will need a A64 well clocked and 2-2-2 timings, clean OS install etc etc

just guesses too

Casting my mind back to when I blew up one of the SLI cards my scores on a 3ghz winchester were something like this:

30k 2001se

14k 2003

6k 2005

I dont think I ran AQM but could have been as high as 80k, I think.

@ Nick25 when you say a 3.4Ghz SD I am assuming thats the overclock you were able to achieve? That being the case and assuming you can clock you single GT to around 430/1160 (I would BIOS flash the clocks to prevent thermal throttling) I would expect the following scores:

>32k 2001se

15k 2003

7k 2005

>80k in AQM

Any of the above scores are well worth posting in the Mbot challenge and will no doubt strenthen our scores.

Everyone please remember that 7590's are the best drivers to bench with -it aint pretty mind.

In the Nvidia performance settings adjust to somehting like this:

Vsync is off

AA & AF are off for 2001, 2005 and AQM

Settings set to highest performance

2003 as above but AF set to application controlled (some might have to do the same for AA)

This should yield your highest scores.

All scores will benefit from using Rivatuner - Turn off side band addressing and fastwrites (worth up to 1000 points in 3dm2001 and AQM).

If you know what you are doing in Rivatuner you can turn on and set the LOD adjustment and the the directX settings adjust this to +4 (slide to the right) which will also give you a significant boost in scores in all tests.

I felt it was a bit of a cheat but found that everyone else in the Hall Of Fame used them so for me I concluded that I was now playing on a level playing field, I still dont think it's right, but it's what we have to do to be competitive in a cheaters market.

MORALS DO NOT WIN PRIZES IN THESE CONTESTS

I just updated one of my 05 scores, and you're welcome to it if you want...

Never M'botted in my life, you'll have to wak me throught it...

It's 8200+ on single card 05...that high enough to make any difference?

Cheers

what clocks my gray moley friend ?

i have my X800 at 12 pipes... and seem to be stuck with the core :( at 460 iirc , that was on stock cooling, and mem at 580 (1160) with no sinks on... got some to go on, plus the maze4

Unfortunately I just sold the card, FX-55, and mobo lol so until I get the new bench rig sorted, I'm out of it for the moment...

I think that was at around 730/675...was a pe so the ram clocked nicely...

Have you 'ricky tweaked' your PC yet? Can make a decent difference u know...

There's a good voltmodder over at XS named Persivore that did the vmods on my card, as long as you don't like your warranty, it can help a lot :)

LOL u can just google it if you want, but it's points for free, and one of a few tweaks that works well on 24/7 and bench only rigs...

Go into your device manager...

update the driver for 'Computer'

Select the option 'don't search/choose own' and in the list of available options (you may have to select 'all' instead of so called 'compatible' drivers you'll see ACPI multiprocessor as a choice...

You can also use MPS Multiprocessor, but that's no got ACPI so for bench-only rigs really, unless you want to switch your pc off every time you power down...

Install ACPI Multiprocessor as the 'Computer' driver, and reboot, then it'll reboot again...

Great for 3D01 and AM3, and pretty good for 03 and 05...

Easy tweak, and you can get 500+ points in 01 from it...

mobot instructions for graymole

First copy and paste this (making any system changes you want but leave the dashes in place)

[mbot] graymole - 8000 - FX55 , Mach2 GT, X850XT [/mbot]

Underneath this just copy your compare link to your score.

Do this in each of the corresponding challenges (05 scores in 05 mbot post in 3dmark section etc..etc.....)

After a day your score will be added to the EP-UK leaderboard and then compiled into the mbot leaderboard, scores in the top ten only make a difference, anything below that becomes a league for EP-UK only - that is to say you may be having a private battle with the guy in 11th etc.....

So get posting, update mbot scores in all of them including the superpi1m test in teh overclocking section.

Good luck my friend.
