a 386 is an older comp that had like a 100MHz or lower processor and like 4megs of ram and 10-20mb hdd

80386 never had 100mhz, its 80486 which got even 120 mhz

... but it was one of most reliable processors, it was even o joke why Intel didn`t call next generation of processors 586 - couse when they added 100 to 386 they have got 585,98 (whoch was quite right, since first pentium had some issue

)
