Why the Comic Sans RealNeil? It is so painful to read that font.
Sorry about that, I use one that I can see better and make it a little bigger too, since I'm slowly but surely losing my sight. My PC defaults to displaying that font in a larger size, and I use a little bit larger screen too.

I'm doing what works best for me at this time. We have 19 fonts and 7 sizes to choose from on this forum and nothing anywhere says that I need anyone's approval to use them. Not trying to be an ass about it, but I'm comfortable with the way I'm doing it now. If it's a problem for anyone to read, then just skip on by whatever I post. I'm not up to anything Earth shattering anyway,...........

Watercooling would be an planned mod for the 1st prize not sure about 2nd & 3rd prizes tho as i dont like the 5.25 bay res/pump options and it might be a bit of a tight fit with a pump and res inside the main body of the case,a window mod on the side panel so you can see all those bits of nerd porn in the case.

I'd have a go at water cooling if it was possible, apart from that I'd probably add another GPU further down the road.

If I won first place.
I would take the 6 SSD raid I currently have buy two more SSD's and a LSI raid controller to support it, and run it as is.
I'd then go buy 3 27inch samsung screens with a 1ms response rate and play crysis and watch it lag.

i thought ssds in raid dont support trim
all the current hardware is prime for what i would use it for. Most likely addition would be another GPU. Like others, water cooling could be an option, but what colour tubing would sit nicely with these rigs?
Maybe an orange to match the highlight of the GPU

White? or just nice and simple clear tube/fluid, some bitspower fittings would be a must 100%

Older SSD's don't support trim.
And even if the newer one's don't what's to stop you from doing a raid with them.
true the original V-series SSD's might not have had trim.
But that doesn't stop me from achieving a decent speed out of them.
That's why Tom probably used the SSD's in these rig's.
Cause Kingston being one of the world leaders in memory (RAM)
And Flash memory technology they know how to use and abuse a drive.
