thought about bottling and selling that water?

I don't think Mushkin will put white ram into production because white isn't ecxactly the best colour to get rid of heat. It is in fact one of the worste. Take a look at snow for example, we've had a bit of that lately. It reflects heat, it doesn't absorb it, otherwise it would melt.

Black is the best colour to conduct heat followed by all the other dark colours respectively

You do realize that snow isn't white do you? Its ice and ice is transparent.

Snow can also be yellow, so if that is the case, why would they put yellow ram into production? (Mushkin Radioactive)

Plus yellow also is a bright colour and so is not good at dispersing heat but u forget that the colour's on the outside and due to that it will actually be more efficient in cooling because its going to reflect heat out of the ram instead of absorbing it. They obviously have done research on heat dispersion. We could very well see white mushkin in production.

Ooo the suspense is killing me.

Honestly guys that Mushkin stuff is amazing..I had some on the back of Tim review and it really is the stuff of dreams

Guys, the fact that it's white doesn't decrease it's heat conductivity as it goes the other way - not from something that heats it to the ram but from the ram to the outside. In fact it all depends on how thick the paint on it is and I bet it's standard for all Ridgeback models.

Well I've only ever seen white snow. I've made yellow snow, but that's quite another story.

Yellow ram? probably because it's a nice colour and black & yellow are the colours on a radioactive sign. Gee... don't Mushkin have ram called "Radioactive".

I wonder if it could have anything to do with that. But then again, I'm the guy who didn't know snow isn't white. So what do I know.

Aye the Todd is right, the colour will have very little effect either way unless for some reason Mushkin slapped on a layer a few mm thick. But they aren't silly people who'd do that

Ehh i didnt get the joke either.

Nor me dude. Sarcasm is generally impossible to spot in its typed form. You normally notice it in the tone of voice someone uses, so you'd have to make it very obvious on a forum for anyone to actually realise you were joking.

As far as everyone else was concerned Bilko was just being antagonistic.

Oh and pure gold is yellow so that's no good for dispersing heat is it?

Ehh just realised srry for the wrong wording what i meant was that itll reflect heat back.

Also pure gold aint yellow its colour is gold

. Just kidding mate i get ur point.

Heat radiation is not light radiation! Otherwise our computers would be glowing and when Tom did the vids on the rigs you would see magical light shining out of the case XD

"White Mushkin ram, look, it glows!
