I think it is just the way the light is falling on it, silver reflecting a bit to look white.

Hmmm I have to admit it would be tempting, not as much a competition as a chaotic spectacle of gladatorial combat. I would be happy to do it aslong as my bat was metal and you guys had...Candyfloss bats?

Noctua is a joint venture between an Austrian company Rascom and a Taiwanese company Kolink. Coolink is the retail arm of the Taiwanese company Kolink, hence why it's registered in Taiwan. My guess since it's a joint venture they share R&D, but Rascom has is more heavily involved with Noctua, while Kolink is more heavily involved with Coolink, which can explain why they are registered in different countries.
