Snow White 2011 Competition!

Should test that UD3R v2 with a RAID array of HDDs and the SSD to see if it's one of the ones with an issue.

Thinkin'bout gettin' one of these... so I have the question - which issue with

RAID and SSD? I use std. HDDs, RAID-HDDs and SSD, so I wanna know before I

buy crap :-)

Tier 1: Gigabyte X58A-UD7

Tier 2: Gigabyte X58A-UD3R

Tier 3: Gigabyte P55A-UD5

Any idea how many P55 boards Gigabyte make? LOADS. xD

I'm gonna stick with this because it's not the UD3R and OC3D reviewed the P55-UD5..

Raid on ssd does not sopport trim to my knowlage, your ssd will get slow fast.

btw thats if your using TWO ssd not multiple HDD and ONE SSD

Milo you misunderstand, Xochielt and I are talking about single SSD and the HDDs in RAID

. Nothing to do with RAID SSDs. Pretty much it's stuff like this, http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/276715-12-x58a-ud3r-raid-bsod-disk-boot-failure and some other sources on OCN etc pretty much it's not all the UD3R v2's that are affected so don't take it that it'll guaranteed happen, it's just some are and how do you know before you get it... The UD3R was my choice before I found out about this as I like the board but meh and I'd still recommend it to others as long as theyre aware of this issue. User reviews are that pretty much everyone loves the board, so just keep that in mind, it's still great

nice rigs i have to say. they`re almost complete. now all we need is the PSU. Cooler Master Silent Gold and it`s all done lol. can`t wait to see the final picture.

NZXT Hale90 are awesome PSU's, rocking a 650w myself

That's the video with the "hint".

Well I'm saying that they are gunna be the 650w(for rig 3), 850w(rig 2) and 1000w(rig 1) of the Nzxt HALE90 PSU's

Seems only logical.

And for you who are too lazy to even click video and skip to 11.04. TTL says "Just for everyone on the Overclock3d forums" and he shows 5 boxes, NZXT 1000W, 850W, 650W and 2x550W. These are the NZXT HALE90 PSUs which are white, 80+ Gold and there is a review here:

NZXT 850W Review OC3D

Love the choice in motherboards TTL, the blue Gigabyte PCB will add nice contrast to the white case, psu and ram =D, can't wait until you post up pictures of the completed rigs. MORE PHOTOS THE BETTER, maybe even a video covering every inch =D
