A friend of mine just got banned from Facebook for sharing a screenshot of Metro Exodus XD

Apparently it went against their mysterious community guidelines, The screenshot was on his own page and it was of pretty neutral scenery showing a before and after with DLSS on and off, He disputed it and a moderator held up the automated decision so his account is now gone permanently, Which wouldn't be a bad thing as Facebook is cancerous AIDS so normally I'd say the looney tunes moderator did him a favour but he has a Quest 2, He just lost access to his account which had over £100 worth of games on it, And there isn't a thing he can do about it.

I said it ages ago that crap like this would happen.

That is exactly why I sold my Rift.

I have a facebook account, with 2 people on it 1 is my dad and the other is a guy who runs a Vape Juice company.

I only use Facebook for buying and selling stuff as it's normally easier than Ebay etc.

Friends of mine send my Facebook account Friend Requests and I don't accept them, they all get annoyed send me messages etc but I simply ignore them.

This was an interesting interview with Dr. Tim Gosling, one of Creative Assembly's AI leaders. Pretty interesting to see it's not about creating an AI that can always win, because they could, but about making a fun AI and that's exactly why it makes odd decisions or stupid in some players opinion. Because it's deliberately making mistakes.

Also the funny stories towards the end was worth a chuckle

Wow, that was really neat. I saw his original video when he made the bellows system, but never thought about it being used to cool a pc. I liked the part where the magnet was too small to work with the new tubing. "Too small? I'll just electroplate it!" Bill Nye would be proud.

I had an issue with my boat that it was leaking quite severely. Culprit was loose sonar's speed sensor which was just drilled in with just through holes...

So this is kinda escalating now, I started with sonar delete but pretty much everything except for the engine's own loom is garbage. So ripping out a whole lot of stuff. It had a car stereo, I'm replacing it with a bluetooth thingy which I can hide and just have the volume knob visible. I don't see the point in boat stereos in the age of bluetooth speakers, but gotta plug those holes the old busted speakers were in.

Everything Witcher related has been worth the wait.

on that note... after finally playing AC Odyssey im literally 50hours into the game, not put a dent in the story yet but completely hooked... I havent been like this since W3 last expansion had come out. Blood and Wine

Went to sleep at 4am, and woke up with the damn greek sea shanty stuck in my head.

I lost interest in Origins. I think its because the scenery was too consistent. Then again what can you do when its based on Egypt, and there is sand everywhere

the HDR in that though was phenomenal.

So I sent back my S21 Ultra today man it sux you pay 1600 for a phone and they won't even send you a loaner or replacement and the company I bought through were going to take 8 weeks! Samsung at least think it'll take a week, I'm using a nearly dead S7 till it get fixed or replaced, so ticked off right now.

That is why Im quite fortunate to have access to any device I want. Pretty much all my phones over the years are the prototype models with official software eventually loaded into them. Our own company takes just as long I believe as it has to be shipped back to the provider warehouse, then to the intermediate vendor, who then either replaces it or takes it up with Samsung directly.

We also do not provide a replacement simply because too many careless people treat replacements like S**t. So dont care if they get broken. Also the tech gurus we have claim they can still pull sensitive data from terminals that have been factory reset stating you never truly delete things off your phone. Much like hard drive recovery.

Origins was pretty meh overall and easily the worst of the new 3. So I agree with you there. Last 2 were phenomenal and especially Valhalla my issues are just less AC style. Which is sad to me.

You're quite lucky in that regard, and you're right about the loan phones, it only takes a few rotten apples to ruin it for everyone, and my phone arrived at the Samsung repair centre this morning, so hopefully shouldn't be long now.
