Small talk & Chit chat

No chance, I'd have to have one of Corsairs newer keyboards for it to clip onto properly and no way I'm getting rid of my Asus ROG Claymore, Love that thing !

Plus the screen is too small and bezels way too thick.

C'mon Dice, Corsair revenue will go down 50% if you don't keep up with the RGB gadgets :D

They depend on you!

Dum dum dum, another one bites the dust. Not even a year old.

Why do you even have this? or is this someone elses? You go on about how bad they are and got a herman miller. How is this chair in your inventory? :S

I saw this happen last week to someone in their office chair so I think it has nothing to do with "gamer chairs" at all, and more to do with the generic base plates that are used, which seem week for some.

He was around 110 kilos however, so leaning back all day every day probably stressed the metals alot.

Is it heck mine lol. It belongs to Stepy

He doesn't post here any more but I have had him on Facebook for years. It snapped this morning.

Oddly it seems to have snapped in the same place as Dice's one. Probably because it was too much chair to put on such a flimsy block of Chinesium.

I can see the problem though. Its just so obvious.

He was raising his left leg to fart way too many times, and it put increased stress on the right side. Clear breakage down to "excessive gas emissions"

LOOOOOL ! I will pass that onto him :D

Thing is he's not even a big guy. He's like a rake.

Now we know how Dice's one broke ! it's all that protein lmfao

The thing is that part of the chair that has snapped is better made now than it use to be.

The metal tube frame on the outside is what went on mine, and then the replacement went the same way 13 or 14 months after receiving it.

Honestly chairs these days just seem to be made as cheap as possible unless your willing to pay well over the £500 mark.

This

I just spent £4500 on a new sofa. The scrawny guy delivering carried all 4 pieces up on his own. The thing weighs nothing and is almost empty.

Not only is it a complete shell inside, but it was made in Latvia. So yep not taking anything away from Latvians, but the store was going as cheap as they can. However the build itself is amazing, but im still annoyed and the insides.

Damn, how big is the sofa? Guessing it's an L-Shape or larger?

Doesn't matter tbh. My ex paid £3000 for a two seater and an armchair.

We originally bought some whack ass crap for £1000 from DFS (disposable furniture store) and within a year we were pretty much sat on the ground.

So we went around the corner to a proper place that has been there about 100 years. We got a two seater sofa chair (£2k) then she did £500 in upgrades (fatter mattress, chrome frame, victorian fabric and pillows) and then the armchair did us the other £500.

That said I must admit, it is heavy, it hasn't gone out of shape AT ALL in the last 5 years and it has to be taken apart just to be moved.

You can obviously understand why I keep it covered like that. Coming home and bleeding all over it cost me £80 to get it cleaned.

Now if that were a proper sized sofa? 6k+ easily.
