Small talk & Chit chat

tgrech, I have something similar, I tend to pull a certain muscle in my chest quite a lot and make the worst assumption possible and think it's a heart attack.

To ease your mind a bit. Patients with heart attacks can't pinpoint the source of the pain with their finger. They always point with the whole hand, as their whole chest hurts. Also, pain very often spreads to the left shoulder or arm. So as long as you can pinpoint the source of pain it highly likely isn't a heart attack. But if you have occurring pain you should go to your doctor and check it out.

Postage for things is a mess right now. ATM myself and my housemate need to share a single webcam, because we literally can't buy one for a reasonable price. Lucky I already owned a Logitech C920.

Similarly, my Girlfriend had to start working from home yesterday, and she couldn't even order a desk from Ikea. It would arrive on the 29th and cost a lot more than normal (as the cheap legs were all gone). Had to give her one of my desks so that she had something to work on.

I get that postage etc is a pain right now, the Royal Mail office where I live has been shut for the last few day's because 1 of the employees has tested positive for Covid and another is suspected of having Covid, so Royal Mail at the moment are not delivering.

When it comes to Scan I mentioned to them simply that abit of communication goes a long way since there site is saying there is a 1-5 day's for delivery, but it's actually taking up to 3 weeks based of some of the latest reviews.

What I don't like is companies saying deliveries will be "x" time but they are actually "y" time, Amazon are taking the pee as well, order screwdrivers etc takes a week to be delivered, my dad orders a pen drive it's delivered next day.

Both of those items were needed for some work and both were stocked in the Amazon warehouse, so simply put someone is choosing what is "Essential" and what isn't and it's annoying.

Everywhere is the same. OCUK took 6 days to ship my last order.

I'm still waiting three days later for my monitor to even ship on Amazon.

So I am considering getting PS Now on PC for a month because I want to see what Last of US and GoW etc is like.

Question is, anyone know how well the streaming service is on a good 100mbit connection? will i get poor fps/stuttering? Nvidia streaming is a bit poop at the moment.

You can get good and smooth FPS. The problem is 100+ ms lag.

yeah, im enjoying last of us. Shame God of War 4 is not available on there :(

It has better latency than Geforce Now. Impressive catalogue too. Allows me to catch up and check out some classics as well as exclusive I never got to try.

GoW isn't on there? Wow that's a shocker that game came out in 2017? Imo it was the best Sony IP released this gen. Game was absolutely phenomenal. I have no idea why it's not on there. There's no dlc or anything either so it's not like they are losing money on that...

Not the PS4 version. All the others are though. Same with uncharted 4. It seems the latest games in the franchise are absent. Perhaps its their way to keep boosting sales by having your play the old ones.

Got my Der8auer bracket today for my AIO. Got the case feet too, so once the stuff arrives to fit those I will get the bracket fitted and do some testing.

Nice.

I got a 2070 Super REALLY cheap and plan to use it for Folding. Just orders a block and a second D5 pump/res for my loop to update it a bit.

Really looking forward to getting all the parts and re-working the loop!

Out of curiosity I wanted to check my VPN's download list, Handy little site called iknowwhatyoudownload.com and lets you see everything downloaded from your IP.

With my standard IP, Zero as the most I download are drivers or mods for games, With my VPN IP though, Holy crap.... there are a lot of pirates using Private Internet Access, Must be hundreds of terabytes of movies and series XD
