Small talk & Chit chat

I haven't got Cyberpunk yet but I know it's going to give my Vega a good fisting, haha.

Not getting it yet, I'm skint after getting that SN750 for Black Friday.

My 970's are on medium and low settings until the GPU turns up tomoz :D

But omg it's pretty, one of the nicest looking games i've ever played and it's only bugged on me once on a mission where i had to redo a checkpoint nothing major.

Really enjoyed it massively i thought i wasn't even going to be able to go above low lol, i could maybe do on high settings but gpu is here tomoz then i'll MAX it out :D

It's pretty adult like the healing system makes me feel like i'm vaping in game :D

tonight is side missions want to slow the story down now that i'm into it more, look around the city and such :)

Funny part for me atm was i was looking at a wall of spray paint thew a granade bounced off a guys head bang he go's flying across the road blood everywhere police turn up in seconds and not even bothered by me :D

same thing happened when i was near my car after calling it blew up a whole crowd several cars mass police chase then i parked up and these crazy high level girls shot the hell out of me game over :D

I'm only playing on normal atm but sometimes it gives you a little bit of hassle so not always a walk in the park.

Will be intresting to see how the 6800 plays it feel sure max settings just no RT atm but it has some fedelityFX stuff in the menu so it's something :)

Edit: GPU is spending the night or a few days in a luxury warehouse in Ipswich, little disapointed but it didn't get to that depot soon enough to get on a van to come here today, thankfully have the customs charge money on hand if need be, but hey it's christmas maybe they don't want any money XD

Wanting to replace my CPU/Mobo at this point. Was set on the 5900X, however, due to stock limitations have started to consider the 5800X.

Have read in several articles that the 5800X is beneficial to those who will only use their PC to game (which I do). However, others have said that the 5800X may fall sort when games start to use more than 8 cores.

What are you guys thoughts?

GPU coming today :) knackered 8 hours sleep since wednesday :D

I think the 5800x will be more than fine tbh by the time you need more cores your be looking at AM5 and DDR5 upgrades maybe even 2nd gen by the time you need more cores.

like you say you only game so why would you need more than 8/16

I was wondering why all of a sudden the 2080Ti is a ginger step kid.

What I mean is, in Cyberpunk, in all of the performance charts I have seen NONE of them show the 2080Ti. Like, the 2070 was there (probably to show it up).

And then today I watched Hardware Unboxed's performance analysis and now I know why. Because the 3070 runs short on VRAM and gets spanked by the Ti. This may be why Nvidia has instructed people not to put the 2080Ti in there.

It seems Nvidia are not even hiding the fact they are completely horrible assholes any more. It's all very blatant now.

Nvidia want you to think only positive things ONLY, there is way more they do in general but when I wake up I'll be uninstalling that dam geforce experience rubbish it's never once got it right settings wise pure trash app only good for downloading drivers!

Well things are starting to look up, Got a call from my old boss from a few years back down in London, They need a PT and she thought of me, It's a private gym, Only catch is I have to stay in London for 6 months but hey it's work and the pay is immense :D

On that note I'll also be window shopping for a new rig, Hopefully will get it around June, Hopefully stock issues may be somewhat fixed by then.

So I commented on something on Facebook, Which is super rare for me and it was met with some American man ranting and raving, Making all sorts of accusations, Getting really aggressive, I know people from all walks of life can be morons but it seems Americans get REALLY aggressive at the flip of a coin, I've noticed this with a lot of my gaming friends that are American and even my distant family over in America, Must be a cultural thing.

It's the internet. That's literally 95% of all interactions.

I can only go on my own experience with hearing what friends, Family and strangers are like but Americans do fairly frequently lose their s*** very quickly and it's not just the net, My aunt when she was in the British military worked with Americans and said the same thing, They lost their s*** at the drop of a hat, To me this says it's a cultural thing, Maybe this is why people in America are so quick to shoot.

Quick to shoot? That's one big stereotype lol. I thought you weren't a fan of social media and yet you say there biggest narrative? The only outwardly culture left is the loud extreme left wingers who spews nonsense and the word "racist" at everything. The more well mannered working class is the culture you fail to hear. Mostly because they are at work :D

You may have your opinion that's fine I have the same for non Americans too. On more than one occasion the sound of my voice is enough to start the old fashioned lame stereotypes of Americans. Everybody hates us we're used to it.

Oh don't get me wrong my best friend is American, A south Texan and most of my close friends are American as well, It's just something I've noticed over the years, Sometimes it can be funny to witness ^_^

And I do hate social media, I made a throw away account just to keep in contact with a few family members that have it, Other than that I keep in touch with everyone through Discord, Skype and general gaming.

So apparently the upcoming MSI MEG Z590 Godlike board for Intel's 11th gen launch will be launching at $1,020 USD.

Who the heck in their right mind would buy a board this expensive. That's more money than one month of what rent would be in many places in the US. Absolutely ridiculous.
