So I came across a video while googling if NVlink was worth it.
2070Super in NVlink vs 2080ti.
Considering both cards and bridge come to same price as a 2080ti. I was pleasantly surprised to see in some titles e.g. SotTR the NVlink stomped the 2080ti quite hard. It does give me hope

Given the cost of GPUs, in the past I always liked to buy the flagship card, and then another later down the line. (i know we are paid well in Norway but no need to bankrupt myself in one go right?

The only exception I see has always been with Ubisoft games. Even EA games had good scaling on SLI albeit blocked by the games themselves trying to override your settings like BFV.

LOL, I'd like to be, but unless something changes, it appears the writing has been on the wall for SLI for years now. It's dead. I feel your pain bro, but I can't see any hope. I've only bought two games recently, The Outer Worlds and Red Dead Redemption 2, both of them don't support SLI. Most triple A titles don't.
I'm sitting here with two 1080TI's in my main rig, and a Radeon VII in my 2nd rig. When I hit a game that doesn't use SLI, or I'm not benchmarking, the 7 is a clearly superior card. This makes a potential GPU upgrade a tough sell. 2080TI's are still stupid expensive, especially if you buy 2.
The cheapest 2080TI I can find new is just under $1400CDN, so $2800 for 2, plus water blocks / back plates, plus HB SLI bridge, so figure about $500-$600 for that, and with Canadian taxes, it would be nearly 4 GRAND. I could buy a 24 core Threadripper system with 64GB of serious RAM and some crazy NVME storage for that much money.

Sold the GPU through Facebook to someone local for quick cash, Sorry but needed it quick, I hate taxes especially surprise taxes.

So a workmate of mine downloaded Davinci Resolve Studio which you can freely download though their site, Noticed it wasn't free as you need to buy it to actually use it so proceeded to download a crack for it, Even though the non Studio version is completely free which is the version I advised him to get as the Studio version is only useful if you have actual control panels and use ALL the indepth features.
After cracking it he idiotically pressed the update button which told him there was an update, He realised what he did, Uninstalled it and is now paranoid he's going to get a massive fine through the post because now Blackmagic know his IP address, Location and program version number due to pressing that "check for updates" button, That is IF any of that info is actually uploaded or if it is a simple software update and simply checks the version number and shows the up to date version ready for download, For his sake I hope it's the latter as he's already mentally balancing on the edge.

It seems Bioware are going to completely overhaul Anthem. Literally from the ground up. So the world will be changed, engine will remain, but loot system, story, and mechanics will all be updated and improved. Call it Anthem 2.0.
They are toying with just releasing another Anthem at a heavy discount or changing the current one in a series or major patches.

Anthem was one game where I was super excited to play but just let me down. Didn't buy it because I wanted to see how EA would do at launch and got lucky
I only played since I have origin premiere.

Earlier this year some may remember I spoke of my cousin who downloaded 2 episodes of Game of Thrones using my internet which gave me some immense anxiety as I don't really want to get into any type of trouble.
Well it turns out he also streamed a few movies recently on a site called 123movies which is still up and around, He told me this yesterday casually in a conversation which just made my heart beat nearly out of my chest and I haven't slept since due to worry.
Since then I've been scouring the net trying to find out as much as possible but mainly I'm getting either major scare tactics or out of date info.
Does anyone at all have any knowledge about such things and should I be worried ? I'm losing sleep because of other peoples reckless actions.

You are 1000% fine mate. People stream and download 24/7, if they aren't doing anything about 99% of those guys they aren't going to be looking for you. They prefer to target the people making this stuff available rather than watching it.

A mate has it on his living room TV and has done for a long time never had anything through the door or email, I'd not worry about it as SPS said they are more after shutting the sites than getting the users

Guessing your mate has some type of blocking or VPN software in place though right ? That would make a huge difference.
