Hey All
Just some quick info befor we get into it.
I already own a Modded Haf X with a 120.3 Thermochill in the top, and a Phobya xtreme 200 in the front.
Cooling my I7 920 and my Geforce GTX580
Build can be seen here
http://www.overclock.net/t/1193780/my-new-haf-x-build-pics-update-13-01-12
Now the Haf X is a big case, and needs to be to have internally mounted rads(though in retrospect i could probably have chosen a better case).
So the idéa since i want to try out the phobya 1260, is to kinda do the exact opposite of what i did with my Haf X.
A small case, with an massive external unit.
I have been looking at the Phobya Supernova 1260, and was thinking about creating a build with this in focus, so any imputs are greatly accepted.
The ideá so far is the Phobya Supernova 1260 in the radstand mount with 4 200/230mm fans. then run 3 tubes from the radiator/radstand to the case
2 of the tubes is obvisioly going to be inlead, outled to the radiator, the last tube i was going to place wires from the fans, with a 3pin extension wire, so it could reach the internally mounted aquaero 5 LT fan controller
The inlead/outled tubes would be connected to the back of the case with some case-buildin Quick Disconnects. last tube with fan wires just a passtrue mount.
and this is where i am at now, trying to figure out which case would be the best option.
the case needs to fit ATX boards, and the longest graphic cards. (future proof)
The case needs to have a window door, to show off the watercooling.
the pump and the reservoir would be placed inside the case, and for the reservoir i have been looking at the FrozenQ Fusion tube reservoir, i don't really fancy bay reservoirs. and it needs to have somewhat decent airflow for the motherboard and the PCI-E SSD harddisk to keep cool.
So far i have been looking a little at the Fractal Design R3 with window
and the Corsair 650D (though this is a big bigger)
Anyone with cool inputs?
:worship:
Thanks
