Slowed SSD

Hey guys and girls!

I've had an OCZ Vertex 2E 120GB drive for about half a year, and have recently noticed quite a shift in performance. I have AHCI enabled and I was under the impression that this TRIM thing meant the SSD will run like brand new all the time.

It just seems to take that bit longer to launch startup apps like my multi monitor taskbar software. I used to be able to launch firefox as soon as I saw the desktop, but that's not so much so any more. All these things are stored on the SSD.

I do have a 1TB storage HDD too with applications and games on there. Do you that is bottlenecking it?

Just to speed it up a bit, do you have any recommendations as to what I could do? I've deleted TEMP files already.

Much appreciated! Daniel x

Mate, OCZ are not so good, judging from online experiences some models take quite the performance hit as the free space lowers. Ofc some firmware may fix that, check there are no updates needed, and update Intel RST drivers, that may help too.
