Hello chaps and chapettes,

I currently have a Gigabyte windforce 3X GTX 670, I'm looking to add another 670 for SLI but i wanted to ask before i do....is it ok to add another card by a different manufactuer?

For example the card I'm looking at buying is an EVGA FTW edition. Still 2GB ram, same size PCB, obviously at stock the EVGA is faster but i can overclock the gigabyte to the same speed quite happily.

Should this work ok? I assume the only difference in this instance is the cooler?

Just wanted to be certain before i make a move on it

They will work fine, but both cards will default to the lowest clock speed.

you can clock them differently or in sync if they can both handle it with evga precision i believe...
