Hey all,

Keep seeing adverts everywhere and hear people talking about this programme called Skins. I feel really left out when I am with people who are having a full on conversation about it when all I want to talk about is Lost

So what exactly is it about, do you watch it and if so is it worth getting into?

Yeah I watch it.. Saw the first series first time around and had to wait bloody ages for the second series as they decided to re-run the first. Anyway yeah its good. Hard to explain what its about really. Try and do a search about it. Just a group of teenagers in college and what they get up to.. parties and stuff.

I haven't really done it justice as its pretty good. Not as amazing as some make out and it isn't gonna change your life or anything but yeah worth a watch.

yeah it's just another teen drama sorta thing, based in Bristol around... 7 or 8 kids in college.

It's not bad, I watched the entire first series, but haven't really been bothered with the second.

It's on Monday evenings now if you've ever got time to kill.

I watch it (on Youtube the day after its aired, cause it isn't on any networks over here). It's a pretty good series tbh.

Basically exaggerated teenage lives.

Worth a watch and not just your normal teeneage drama imo

Be prepared to get confused at points tho

At 25 I feel outside of the target audience, watched a couple of the 1st series but haven't bothered with it since... It wasn't bad, just not that good lol.

I've never watched it as from the adverts it looks a bit rubbish and far fetched/exaggerated.

I thought it was just one of those rubbish teenage programs that kids watch because it has drugs & sex in it (those kids that are too cool for school)

Altho I rarely watch drama programs that are hyped up. I've also never watched Lost, Sex & The City, Prison Break, Shameless etc.

I normally find them to be as bad as watching reality tv shows & stuff like pop idol

I've watched most of the 1st series and a few of the new ones.

Only really got into it as it was filmed in my old school. Then i realised it wasn't the worst thing on the box. I won't go out of my way to watch it though.

Not as if it's Heroes.

I rarely watch TV but Skins is a decent programme with some good laughs and black comedy in it. I wouldn't say it's over-hyped, but it's not gonna be everyone's cup of tea

I totally agree, but I think Skins isn't part of the crap

Big Brother, "Reality TV" all that sh1te...ye...but at least Skins is pretty original

Download 4 on demand you can watch the whole first and second series for free, just stream them (Y).. thats what i do if i miss it.
